The Big Apple Cont..

Sunday morning we walked down to the Empire State Building, and went for a small walk up Fifth Ave, but it was eventually blocked off for the Gay Pride parade that was about to take place. So we caught a cab to Madison Square Garden - the huge sporting and event complex in the centre of NYC.

After a quick look around (and opting not to take the 1 hour $16 tour) we caught the cab to Central Park.

We walked through the park then on to Fifth Ave again to watch a bit of the Parade.

We had some lunch, walked back to our car and drove home.
